Now in its 3rd year, the Family Shelter Services’ Annual FIST BUMP 5K raises funds for homeless individuals and families.  All monies raised go directly to Family Shelter Services to meet the needs of the residents served in the 52-bed emergency shelter in Warrenton.  The only emergency shelter operating in Fauquier County for over 30 years, Family Shelter Services provides emergency shelter and transitional housing support services to homeless individuals and families throughout the greater Piedmont region.  

Our inaugural event held on July 10, 2021, paid tribute to Fauquier County lifelong resident Greg Coffey. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Lucia Coffey, the event netted over $20,000 for our mission. Over 100 people participated!  Please join us again this year and help Family Shelter Services help those less fortunate than us. Run or walk with family and friends of Family Shelter Services to support the most vulnerable members in our community.
